Department of Mechanical Engineering, Productivity and Industrial Maintenance
Department of Mechanical Engineering, Productivity and Industrial Maintenance
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Productivity and Industrial Maintenance (established in 1986) – EST Fès, USMBA, trains technicians and assistant engineers capable of intervening from design to production, through maintenance and quality control, with strong openness to innovation and socio-professional partnerships.
Driven by a vision of technological excellence and industrial utility, the department aims to prepare immediately operational profiles for positions in the industrial sector. To this end, it offers applied and practical training in mechanical engineering, production technology, industrialization and maintenance, backed by modern workshops and cutting-edge equipment. The major objectives are: 1) Train for engineering professions (studies, methods, production, quality control, maintenance and scheduling) 2) Master operating documentation, maintenance management (CAD/CAM, CNC, CLOUD, CMMS, e-commerce-logistics) 3) Ensure continuous training, support and industrial performance. 4) Facilitate insertion and continuation of studies (Master’s degrees) through innovative pedagogical pathways and research support via Laboratory TSI.
